A funeral for Caroline L. Pierce, 91, a Carson City resident for the past 33 years, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Pierce died June 25, 2005, in Carson City.
She was born Dec. 1, 1913, in Los Angeles to George D. and Teresa M. Abbott.
She attended Long Beach Poly High School
She married Arnold Pierce on Sept. 29, 1942, in Arizona.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Long Beach, Calif.
Mrs. Pierce worked for Douglas Aircraft (Boeing) from 1951 to 1969. She was a Protestant.
Among her survivors are her husband; children Arnold W. Pierce of Shingle Springs, Calif., Chris McCartney of Carson City and Georgia McGregor of Incline Village; sister, Katherine Chadwick, of Seal Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren and two nieces.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
