David La Fata brings his 16-years of professional golf experience to Thunder Canyon Golf Club in Washoe Valley where he will serve as the Director of Golf Instruction.
La Fata joins Thunder Canyon after being Director of Golf Instruction in Incline Village. A Class A instructor and one of the top 100 teachers in the country, La Fata received his training from the Jim McLean Golf School, one of the nation's best golf schools.
La Fata joins Thunder Canyon as the private golf club introduces the Season Lesson Series, 10 hour private lessons and six clinics throughout the season, which are open to the public. Each week the clinic will focus on different topics with six clinics per week scheduled.
The Season Lesson Series is designed to provide a "personal trainer" feel to golf instruction in helping individuals with their game.
