Steve W. Scholz

Steve W. Scholz, 64, a former Carson City resident for many years, died Feb. 20, 2005, in Hawthorne. He was born June 15, 1940, in Oakland, Calif.

Among his survivors are his estranged wife, Nicole of Hawthorne; mother, Beverlye Jill Ballas and brother, Mike, both of Sonora, Calif.; children Penny Scholz of Longmont, Colo., Steve and Chris Wells of Tracy, Calif., and Dana Croghan of Livermore, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
