A graveside service for Pietrina Zumwalt, 92, a Carson City resident for the past 15 years, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Catholic Cemetery in Eureka.
Mrs. Zumwalt died March 2, 2005, in Carson City. She was born March 8, 1912, in Eureka, to Bernard and Marian Valergha Damele.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Eureka.
Mrs. Zumwalt was a secretary for the Eureka School District. She was a member of the Catholic church. She was an accomplished piano and accordion player and taught piano to neighborhood children. She enjoyed fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher, in 1980.
Among her survivors are her sons Tilton of Carson City and Gordon of Reno; daughter, Crystal DeMasters of Roseburg, Ore.; sister, Margaret Harcourt of Gardnerville; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
