Dolores Johanna Ottowa, 79, a Wellington resident for 27 years, died March 11, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno. She was born Aug. 18, 1927, in Oklee, Minn., to Roy and Isabel Aalbu.
She married Ernest E. Ottowa on June 9, 1945, in Bremerton, Wash.
Before moving to Wellington, she lived in Yerington.
Mrs. Ottowa was a homemaker. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Yerington.
She was preceded in death by sister, Rosemarie and brothers Victor and Jim.
Among her survivors are her husband of Wellington; children Jean Green of Napa, Calif., Robert of Wellington, William of Kamiah, Idaho, and Peggy Ehwell of Wellington; sister, Bonnie Goodman of Hawthorne; brother, Roy Aalbu of Sun City, Calif.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City. FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
