A graveside service for Carl A. Perry, 76, a Carson City resident, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Fairhaven Cemetery and Mortuary in Santa Ana, Calif.
Mr. Perry died March 19, 2005, at home.
He was born July 29, 1928, in Jefferson Parrish, La., to George A. and Pearl Carlisle Perry.
He attended Kenner High School in Kenner, La., and Loyola University in New Orleans.
He married Patricia R. Hackler in Santa Ana on Feb. 27, 1954.
Mr. Perry worked in commercial banking and consumer lending his entire career. He was a member of the Carson City Host Lions Club and the Cal-Nevada All Airborne Association. He enjoyed golfing.
He served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division and was a World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by brothers James, Gerald, Stanley, Albert and Herbert.
Among his survivors are his wife of 51 years; daughter, Carol A. Perry of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Richard M. and Lisa of Elko and Patrick C. and Rachel of Sacramento; granddaughters Alana, Anna, Erin, Kirsten and Julia Perry; and brother, George A. of Columbia, Miss.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Mary's Hospice in Reno.
