A service for Bernard T. "Ben" Mominee, 72, a Yerington resident for the past 45 years, will be at 1 p.m. today at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home.
Mr. Mominee died March 20, 2005, at home. He was born Aug. 17, 1932, in Curtis, Ohio, to Howard and Anna Mae Mominee.
He married Diana Mackey.
Mr. Mominee worked for Southwest Gas Corp. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, AARP, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and a volunteer with the fire department.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Among his survivors are his wife; daughters and sons-in-law Corina and Mark Sansone of Folsom, Calif., Wendy and James Booth of Gardnerville and Shanda and Philip Turner of Dillon, Mont.; father of Toldeo, Ohio; sisters Mary Wilson of Winterhaven, Fla., and Sharlene Vincent of Toledo; three grandchildren; and numerous extended-family members.
Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Yerington.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
