Jean C. Millard, 76, a Wellington resident, died March 19, 2005, at her home. She was born Dec. 16, 1928, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Clyde C. and Velma Pearl Burns Clark.
She married Stanley Millard on Jan. 17, 1948. He preceded her in death in 2003.
Before moving to Wellington, she lived in Minden.
Mrs. Millard retired from the State of California. She enjoyed Wheel of Fortune and bingo. She danced on stage with the Valente Dancers for a number of years and once performed for the Jerry Lewis Telathon.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Among her survivors are her children Trudy Schindler of Wellington, Michael Millard of Modesto, Calif., Vicki Borromeo of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Patti Millard of Carson City; sisters Beth Groo of Provo, Utah, Sharon Bullock of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Joy Evans of Lodi, Calif.; brothers Steve Clark of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jim Clark of Suisun City, Calif.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
