A memorial service for Jean F. Bader, 75, a Carson City resident for the past 25 years, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Bader died March 23, 2005, in Carson City. She was born Aug. 20, 1929, in Reno, to Donald and Mabel Mumper Finlayson.
She graduated from French Hospital School of Nursing in 1950.
She married Lowell "Pete" Bader on Oct. 11, 1952, in San Francisco.
Mrs. Bader retired from Carson-Tahoe Hospital as a registered nurse in 1994. She was devoted to her animals.
She was preceded in death by brother, Donald Finlayson, in 1995.
Among her survivors are her husband, of Carson City; daughter, Deborah Bader of Sparks; stepson, Ted L. Bader of Port Orchard, Wash.; nieces June Upchurch and Linda Phillips and grand-niece April Upchurch-Olson.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
