The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 25-year-old electrician from Carson City was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Fleetwood Avenue on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bail was set at $3,132.

• Robert Schirlls, 54, retired of Carson City, was arrested at 9:09 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of East Telegraph Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child abuse. His bail was set at $2,500.

• Nick Howard Pricola, 24, a laborer from Dayton, was arrested at 4 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of North Stewart Street on suspicion of felony vehicle burglary and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He allegedly stole a purse from a vehicle and was chased and captured by bystanders. Bail was set at $26,132. The purse contained $11.

• An 82-year-old retired Carson City man was arrested at 12:53 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of North Telegraph Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. The arresting deputy indicated in his report that the man apparently forgot to pay the fine. The deputy drove him to an ATM machine to withdraw bail money before taking him to jail.

• A 40-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Thursday in the 3700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny and failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $347. She allegedly had $24 worth of merchandise hidden in her purse.

- Deputies responded to the following calls:

• The school district maintenance yard on North Richmond Street was burglarized of tools and windows were broken sometime Thursday night.

• A vehicle at a dealership on South Carson Street appeared to have been damaged with a shotgun sometime before Friday at 10:19 a.m.

• A vehicle was reported stolen at 10:44 a.m. Thursday from the parking lot of the Albertson's store on North Carson Street while the owner was in the store.

• A diamond bracelet was reported stolen Thursday at 11:04 a.m. from a home on Laurel Road.
