Genevieve Wass Voshall, 75, a 37-year resident of Yerington and a one-year resident of Gardnerville died May 4, 2005, at Evergreen Gardnerville Health and Rehabilitation Center of a brain tumor. She was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Medina, Ohio to Chester and Flora Bowman Wass.
She married Raymond Voshall on July 30, 1949, in Medina. She was a homemaker.
Before coming to Yerington she lived in Victorville, Calif.
Mrs. Voshall was a member of the South Lyon County Hospital Auxiliary.
She enjoyed playing cards with friends and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Voshall was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, son Dean R.; brothers Melvin, Lawrence, Lloyd, Myron, Chester and Clarence Wass.
Among her survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law Beverly and Bruce Hollander, Brenda and Dave Mauk, all of Gardnerville and Robin and Darell Feldmiller of League City, Texas; daughter-in-law Dina Voshall of Sandy, Utah; son Danny of Henderson; sister Virginia Hawke of Ohio; brother Donald Wass of Ohio; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
At her request, no services will be held.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
