A funeral Mass for Marion Rose Teegarden, 83, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 740 S. Shamrock Ave., Monrovia, Calif.
Visitation will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Douglas-Zook Funeral Home in Monrovia.
Mrs. Teegarden died May 10, 2005, at Evergreen Convalescent Hospital.
She was born Dec. 2, 1921, in San Francisco, Calif., to Fred and Rose Kukar Bickert.
She married Robert Teegarden on May 26, 1944, in San Francisco.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived at Lake Almanor, Calif.
Mrs. Teegarden was a school teacher and taught sixth grade at Immaculate Conception Catholic School for eight years and served as vice principal for one year.
She was a past member of the Pleiades women's organization. She was an avid bridge player and an accomplished pianist and singer.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; sons Robert Allen of Sacramento, Calif., John Taylor of Victorville, Calif., and James Frederick of Monrovia; daughters Judith Taylor Rosen of Martinez, Calif., Theresa Panpu of Upland, Calif., Janice Wiley of Cincinnati and Mary Bennet of Portland, Ore.; sister, Patricia Tomaszewski of Citrus Heights, Calif.; brother, Eddy Brickert of Los Molinos, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be May 16 at Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia.
Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund for Immaculate Conception Catholic School, Monrovia, CA 91016.
