Fly tying/casting class by NDOW this evening

The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) will be conducting a special, two-hour, fly tying/casting class tonight

It will be held at the Verdi Community Library and Wildlife Education Center at 270 Bridge St. in Verdi (That is the building adjacent to the Verdi Elementary school grounds).

The class will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is geared to entry-level anglers and is free to all participants.

There is a minimum age of 10 to attend. A parent or guardian must accompany all children.

Pre-registration is required.

The class size is limited to 15, first-come, first-served.

There are a limited number of rods available for use by those who do not have their own fishing equipment.
