Two veteran deputies have been named to top administrative positions in the Attorney General's Office.
Attorney General Brian Sandoval named Randal R. Munn as assistant attorney general and James Spencer as special assistant attorney general.
"The daily challenges of the Office of Attorney General require that these positions be filled with persons of integrity, experience and leadership," Sandoval said. "Randy and Jim are proven leaders with an impressive history of litigation, administrative law and government affairs experience."
Munn is a 12-year veteran of the office, serving the past two years as chief of the Reno office and as Sandoval's special assistant. Among other duties, he is chief editor of attorney general's opinions. He will assume overall management of the office, assisted by Spencer.
Spencer has been with the office 23 years and will take over many of Munn's current duties.
