A funeral for Hazel Lorraine Rollings, 89, a Gardnerville resident for the past 17 years, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McAulay and Wallace Funeral Home in Fullerton, Calif.

Viewing will be from 5-8 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.

Mrs. Rollings died May 28, 2005, in Gardnerville. She was born July 15, 1915, in Shawnee, Okla., to Richard Carl and Gertie White Herrell.

She married Harold Ebner Rollings.

Mrs. Rollings worked as an aircraft parts inspector, a grocery clerk and a clothing manufacturer, and was involved in motel management. She was a member of the Young at Heart Senior Citizens, the Eagles Lodge in Long Beach, Calif., and Town and Country Homemakers in Gardnerville. She was an RSVP volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters Laverne Reichel and Chiona Kumer; brother, Lester Herrell; and granddaughter Teresa Rollings.

Among her survivors are children Harold R. Rollings of Gardnerville, LaDean M. Walz of Fullerton and Donald L. Rollings of Gardnerville; 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many extended-family members.

A viewing will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at McAulay and Wallace, with burial at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton.
