A rosary for Mark William Perondi, 52, a Phoenix resident for the past three years and Nevada native, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community North Chapel with a Mass at 11 a.m.
Mr. Perondi died Nov. 1, 2005. He was born Dec. 31, 1952, in Carson City to Alfred and Norma Perondi.
He graduated from Carson High School and attended the University of Nevada, Reno.
Mr. Perondi worked for the Reno Gazette-Journal then transferred to the Arizona Republic. He enjoyed attending sporting events and participating in family functions. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his father in June 2005.
Among his survivors are his mother, Norma "Tiny"; brother and sister-in-law David and Pam; sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Tim Lahey; brother and sister-in-law Michael and Kimberley; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside inurnment service with the Fraternal Order of Eagles will follow the Mass at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery, and a reception will be at St. Teresa's Church.
