Donna L. Moore, 69, a Silver Springs resident for the past 11 years, died Nov. 15, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born April 14, 1936, in Hopedale, Ill., to Herman and Margaret Cahill Hitt.
She graduated from high school.
She married Thomas R. Moore on June 14, 1961, in Antioch, Calif.
Before moving to Silver Springs, she lived in Sacramento.
Mrs. Moore was an occupation specialist for HUD. She enjoyed her family, traveling and fishing. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and Daughters of the American Republic.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband of Silver Springs; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Andrea and son Daniel, all of Carson City; sister Mary Bridges of Lincoln, Ark.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
At her request no service will be held.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
