The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 27-year-old cashier from Stagecoach was arrested at 3:10 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of West Telegraph Street on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs, driving on a suspended license and unsafe backing. Bail was set at $2,317.
• William Edward Boult, 40, of Redding, Calif., was arrested on two felony warrants from California as he got off a bus in the 500 block of North Carson Street at 10:58 a.m. No bail was set.
n The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:
• A 1993 White Ford Explorer was stolen from the 500 block of West College Parkway at 7:47 a.m. after the owner left it running to warm it up.
• Guns were reported stolen Thursday from a home on Lander Drive while the owner was on vacation.
• A female student filed a battery report Thursday at 1:39 p.m. at Carson High School after she was bitten by someone.
• Items were stolen from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Karin Drive sometime Wednesday night.
• An employee at the Ron Wood Family Resource Center reported at 11:27 a.m. Friday her purse was stolen from her desk at work.
• A dirt bike was stolen sometime in the last three weeks from a home in the 1400 block of Jewell Avenue.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Accident at Exit 48 on Interstate 80 in Fernley at 7:06 a.m.
• Vehicle burglary and destruction of property report in the 4800 block of Osage Drive in Stagecoach at 12:03 p.m.
• Harassing phone call report on Moonlight Road in Mound House at 1:23 p.m.
• Accident report on Fort Churchill Road in Mark Twain at 3:22 p.m.
• Vehicle fire on Highway 50 East in Mound House at 3:59 p.m.
• Child custody dispute report taken at the Silver Springs substation at 4:08 p.m.
• A sexual offense report in Fernley at 6:15 p.m.
• Child abuse or neglect report in the 1700 block of Short Oak Court in Fernley at 7:07 p.m.
• Fire in the 2200 block of East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 10:35 p.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Two dogs, a small brown shepherd named Peanut and a brown Labrador named Bear, were missing from a home on Lousetown Road at 9:39 a.m.
• A vehicle was towed from Canyon Way in Lockwood at 10:45 a.m.
• A man reported at 1:08 p.m. he was repeatedly collecting mail from the ground on Mary Lane.
• A parent reported at 4:11 p.m. a bus driver was being rough with her child.
• A dispute at 5:06 p.m. between a property owner and a vacating tenant on North C Street ended in the arrest of the tenant on a drug-related charge.
• A mailbox was reported stolen from a home on La Fond Avenue in Mark Twain at 5:42 p.m.
• A vehicle ran down a ravine on Six Mile Canyon Road at 7:53 p.m. No injuries reported.
