A memorial service for Ivan Francis Mull, 69, a Dayton resident for the past four years, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at 7000 Highway 50 E. in Dayton.
Mr. Mull died Nov. 24, 2005, in Dayton. He was born March 24, 1936, in Raton, N.M., to Edward and Margaret Michelle Mull.
He received a master's degree from New Mexico State University in Las Vegas, N.M.
He married Barbara "Babs" Thomas on May 18, 1991, in Bullhead City, Ariz.
Mr. Mull was a high school teacher in El Centro, Calif., deputy director for the Los Angeles County Department of Social Services and a special agent for the Internal Revenue Service. He was a Master Gardener for the University of Nevada, Reno Cooperative Extension.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his wife; stepdaughter, Sheryl Johnson; stepson, Blaine Busse; sister, Jeanette of Raton; and grandson Aidan Busse.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Northern Nevada.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
