(Staff report) Silver Springs General Improvement District will have one less place to send the area's treated effluent, now that Builder's Choice, a new truss manufacturing company, has purchased property that contained a line and valve risers.

The GID had an effluent reuse agreement with Silver Springs Airport managers Hale and Kay Bennett, who sold that property to Don Ogden, the company owner, but Builder's Choice plans to put a parking lot in the area of the risers.

GID board member Margaret Ruckman said the GID will shut off the pipeline, and the board doesn't plan to move the pipe right away.

"It can stay," she said. "If we choose not to move it, we'll just cap off the risers or Builder's Choice can do it."
