A memorial service for Elizabeth Ann Ramsay, 61, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Topaz Lodge in the grassy area between the service station and the lodge.
Ms. Ramsay died Sept. 26, 2005 at her Topaz Lake campsite under suspicious circumstances.
She was born Sept. 13, 1944, in Long Beach, Calif., to Ed and Ruth Ramsay. They preceded her in death.
She loved the high desert between Bishop and Gardnerville and had been camping throughout the summer months after spending 20 years as primary companion and caregiver to her mother.
Among her survivors are sons Vincent Gurzi of the Palm Springs, Calif., area and Michael Faley of Topaz Lake; grandchildren Jason Gurzi, Danielle Gurzi and Sean Elway Faley; sisters Jean Carol King of Hemet, Calif., and Robyn Ramsay Hooker of Arroyo Grande, Calif., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Flowers may be sent to Topaz Lodge in care of Elizabeth Ramsay.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
