Letha Gwyneth Perry, 82, a Yerington area resident for the past 10 years, died Sept. 30, 2005, at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington.
She was born Sept. 15, 1923, in Hollister, Calif., to Clarence and Martha Brown.
Before moving to Yerington, she lived in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Mrs. Perry worked as a lead operator for many years for a computer company.
She had been a Girl Scout leader and a 4-H leader. She enjoyed painting and reading.
She served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Among her survivors are her son, Mike, of Santa Cruz; daughter, Linda Wilson, of Yerington; grandchildren Zachery Perry of Santa Cruz and Wayne and Tearesa Wilson, both of Yerington and a great-grandson.
At her request, no service will be held.
Cremation will be at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
