According to the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW), here are some recent fish plants in this general area:

Sept. 21: East Carson River in Douglas County: 3,048 rainbow trout, 10.3 inches in length.

Sept. 23: Blue Lakes in Humboldt County: 703 Tiger Trout, 4.1 inches.

Sept. 26: Paradise Pond in Northern Reno: 1,004 rainbows, 11 inches.

Sept. 26: Virginia Lake in Reno: 996 rainbows, 11 inches.

Sept. 27: Knott Creek Reservoir in Northern Humboldt County: 2,520 rainbows, 9.1 inches.

Sept. 28: Mountain View Pond in Yerington: 200 rainbows, 11 inches.

Sept. 29: Davis Creek Pond in Washoe Valley: 600 rainbows, 11 inches.

Sept. 29: Wilson Common Pond in Washoe Valley: 500 rainbows, 11 inches.

Sept. 29: Liberty Pond in Churchill County: 1,000 rainbows, 11 inches.

Oct. 3: West Walker River in Lyon County: 1,199 rainbows, 8.8 inches.

Oct. 4: East Carson River in Douglas County: 1,611 rainbows, 8.9 inches.

Oct. 6: Hinkson Slough on the Mason Valley Wildlife Management Area: 571 rainbows, 11.3 inches.

Oct. 7: Hinkson Slough on the Mason Valley Wildlife Management Area: 531 rainbows, 10.2 inches.
