The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• John Benet Neese, 50, a framer from Gardnerville, was arrested at 5 a.m. Tuesday at Carson and Stewart streets on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of burglary tools and failure to maintain lane. Bail was set at $2,739.

• A 42-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 2:10 p.m. Monday at Jodi Lane and Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear, driving on a suspended license and speeding. Bail was set at $2,607.

• A 30-year-old corrections officer from Carson City was arrested at 5:27 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of Conestoga Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

n Deputies responded to the following calls:

• A caller reported Tuesday witnessing two men breaking into a Country Village Drive apartment at 8:56 a.m. A neighbor who followed the suspects said the driver brandished a gun at him. Their unoccupied vehicle was found on Palo Verde Drive and the men were last seen heading toward the swim center. With no transportation, deputies suspected the men would need a ride and called the cab company. The cab dispatcher said two men were picked up around that time on Roop Street heading for the Atlantis in Reno. Washoe deputies stopped the cab in Reno and the witnesses identified them as the burglars. The gun was found in the trash can at a gas station. Thomas Oborny, 55, was booked into the Carson City Jail on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of marijuana, a Reno traffic warrant and residential burglary. His bail was set at $25,617. His son, Robert Oborny, 26, was arrested on suspicion of felony residential burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of marijuana. His bail was set at $25,000.

• A car in the 4200 block of Pheasant Drive was vandalized while parked in a garage sometime over the weekend.

• A man reported losing his methadone prescription in the 400 block of East Park Street at 12:54 a.m. Monday.

• A laptop computer was reported stolen between 1 and 5 p.m. Monday in the 3700 block of Woodside Drive.

• Graffiti was reported on the Church of Jesus of Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saliman Road.

• Four city vehicles were reported vandalized and gasoline siphoned from them on Tuesday at 8:08 a.m. in the 2600 block of Northgate Lane.

• Lumber and hardware was missing from a construction site in the 4400 block of Timberline Drive on Tuesday at 8:16 a.m.

Lyon County

Deputies responded to the following calls Monday:

• Accident at 7:16 a.m. at Cottonwood Lane and Highway 95A in Fernley.

• Accident at 7:54 a.m. at the Highway 50 overpass in Fernley.

• Destruction of property at 9:52 a.m. on Sage Street in Fernley.

• Accident at 1:34 p.m. on Main Street in Fernley.

• Residential burglary report at 4:07 p.m. in the 400 block of Truck Inn Way in Fernley.

• Two felony narcotic arrests at 4:47 p.m. in the 300 block of Willow Way.

• Domestic dispute at 5:18 p.m. on Fortune Drive in Dayton.

• Accident at 5:37 p.m. in the 4800 block of Osage Drive in Stagecoach.

• Property damage in the 700 block of Red Hawk Drive at 8:31 p.m. in Fernley.

Storey County

Deputies responded to the following calls Monday:

• A "skinny black horse" was seen in a field on F and Taylor streets at 11:43 a.m.

• A truck driver passed a dark SUV on South Industrial Park and State Route 341 and saw a man inside hitting a woman at 12:01 p.m.

• A mother reported at 4:26 p.m. her high school daughter was hit on the school bus.
