The Carson High volleyball team swept at Wooster 26-24, 27-25, 25-23 on Tuesday to set up a showdown with Reno High for third place in the Sierra League.

Carson will host Reno at 6 p.m. Thursday. The winner will finish third in the Sierra League while the loser will settle for first. If Carson wins, it would face Manogue in the first round of the Northern 4A playoffs while a loss would mean the Senators would play Galena in the first round.

"We didn't play that well and they played very well," said Carson coach Shana Wilkins about the match against Wooster. "That made it real close.

We were able to pull each game out, which was great. We just kind of couldn't get into the flow, though. We got our stats. We played OK."

Sandra McAlman had 11 kills and 17 digs, Catherine Brekken had eight kills, four blocks and six digs, Allison Foltz had 21 digs and two aces, Sandie Howard had eight blocks, two digs and five kills and Lindsay Ford added 32 assists for Carson.
