Leonard Irving Colcleaser, 78, a lifetime Dayton resident, died Oct. 25, 2005, at his home. He was born Sept. 27, 1927, in California, to John Basil and May Grace Phillips Colcleaser.
He married Jacqueline Dacus.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in California.
Mr. Colcleaser was an electrical lineman.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 55 years.
He served in the merchant marines.
Among his survivors are his wife of Dayton; sons Dan of Central Oregon and Michael; daughter, Karen Griffen of Medford, Ore.; brothers Bill of Vacaville, Calif., Chester of Chester, Calif., and Donald of Gold Hill, Ore.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous extended-family members.
