Galena volleyball sweeps Wooster

The Galena High girls volleyball team swept to a 25-7, 25-22, 25-20 against Wooster on Thursday.

Galena (10-2) substituted freely in the last two games, but was still able to hold off Wooster's challenge.

Lydia Mailander had five kills, four digs, two aces and two blocks, Nancy Burrows had seven kills, six aces and two blocks, Julia Mailander had five kills, Casey Burke had four kills, Tahlia McCann had 12 assists and two aces, Margot Ward had three aces and three digs, Madison Hardy had nine assists, six digs and two aces, Johanna Dibble had two aces, Brooke Keever had four digs and Amy Scott added three blocks.

Galena won the junior varsity match 25-15, 25-12 and also won the freshmen contest 25-16, 25-13.
