Alfred V. Panfilio, 71, a Carson City resident for the past nine years, died Sept. 9, 2005, in Carson City. He was born Sept. 21, 1933, in Illinois, to Vito and Roma DiGaitani Panfilio.
He graduated from Lane Academy in Chicago.
He married Marie Totzke on March 8, 1996, at Harveys, in Stateline.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Oceanside, Calif.
Mr. Panfilio spent his career in sales and management in the fastener industry. He enjoyed woodcrafts, collectibles and gardening.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; daughters Teresa Panfilio of Oceanside and Stacy Dent of Long Beach, Calif.; mother of Chicago; brothers Vincent of Carson City and John of Puerto Rico; grandchildren Anthony Panfilio of Oceanside and Ryan and Riley Dent of Long Beach; and brother-in-law Robert Totzke of Appleton, Wis.
