A celebration of life for Jason Paul Royer, 33, a Dayton resident for more than 20 years, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Fuji Park Exhibition Hall.
Mr. Royer died Sept. 8, 2005, in Mound House. He was born May 7, 1972, in Modesto, Calif., to Darwin and Michelle Royer.
He married Debra Ryan Oct. 10, 1992, in Genoa.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Carson City. He graduated from Carson High School.
Mr. Royer was a machinist for GGI Inc. in Carson City. He was a longtime member and rider for the National Pony Express Association's annual re-enactment. He enjoyed his family and the outdoors, especially mountain biking, fishing, boating, riding his dirt bike and riding his horse, Moose.
Among his survivors are father and stepmother Darwin and Robin Royer; mother, Michelle Royer; sister and brother-in-law Amy and Travis Atterberry; niece Jadah and brother, A.J., all of Roseburg, Ore.; grandfather Don Royer of Fresno, Calif.; the Dale Ryan family of Carson City; and numerous family members from California.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
