Connie "Pop" Havier, 96, a Carson City resident for the past five years, died Sept. 13, 2005, in Carson City.
He was born March 27, 1909, in Vigan Ilocos Sur, Philippines, to Cesario and Urbana Javier.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Beaverton, Mich.
Mr. Havier was a member of the Hotel and Restaurant Employees International Union.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby, brothers Frank and Ernest, sister Salley and son Frank.
Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law Monico and Linda Havier of Carson City; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
