A memorial service for Jean Carol Earle, 69, a 10-year Auburn, Calif., resident, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Sierra Pines United Methodist Church, 22559 W. Hacienda Drive in Auburn.
Mrs. Earle died Sept. 28, 2005, at her home.
She was born Dec. 18, 1935, in N. Olmsted, Ohio, to Douglas and Hazel McDowell Dewey.
Before moving to Auburn, she lived in Carson City.
She retired from the Nevada State Education Association. She was a member of the golf and tennis clubs of Lake of the Pines.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother George Dewey.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Earle; daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Mitch Pier of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law Peter and Carol Earle of Carson City; brother Ray Dewey of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; eight grandchildren and a niece and nephew.
Cremation was at Chapel of the Angels, which is in charge of arrangements.
