For 30 years, the Topaz Sagehens have organized a large community rummage and bake sale. This year's fundraising event is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 6 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 7 at the Topaz Ranch Estates Community Park Building.
Along with bargains galore, there will be chili dogs, homemade desserts and raffle prizes.
The Sagehens are accepting donations on Saturdays in April from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Blue Sage Storage, Unit 96 in the back, 4255 State Road off of Highway 208 on the right heading toward Wellington. Large items may be brought to the TRE Park Building from May 3-5. All items must be in working order.
Proceeds from this event are used to fund community charities and civic organizations including the Douglas High School Scholarship Fund. Come for fun and friendship and to support the community. For more information about the event and how to donate things to the rummage sale, contact Micki Joye at 266-1025.
