BASEBALL

Shawn Estes, P, San Diego Padres: Was scheduled to make his season debut Tuesday against the San Francisco Giants but the game was postponed due to rain.

Chris Honer, Rfr., P, Point Loma: Did not play last week.

Tommy Hoyle, jr., P, Mesa State: Struck out one and allowed one hit in relief during a loss to Western Oregon Saturday.

Cal Lewis, jr., 3B, South Dakota State: Lewis has started all 21 games for the Jackrabbits. He is batting .219 with three doubles, three triples, one home run and seven RBIs.

Bryan Miller, soph., OF, Mesa College: Miller is batting .361 on the year with 46 hits, five triples, 13 doubles and 40 RBIs.

Chad Walling, fr., OF/INF/P, Western Nevada: Pitched an inning in relief against Southern Idaho Friday, started in right field Saturday in a 1-0 win against Southern Idaho and played in center field later in the day.

Jimmy Pierce, fr., INF, Western Nevada: Played at shortstop against Southern Idaho Friday.

SOFTBALL

Kristy Olsen, soph., 3B/OF, Iowa State: No stats last week.

Brittany Puzey, fr., OF, Nevada: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a home run in a 14-2 win over Utah Valley State. Went 1-for-3 in a 2-0 loss to Portland State. Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in a 6-5 win over North Texas. Went 1-for-3 in a 6-3 win over Saint Mary's. Went 2-for-3 with a home run in a 6-4 win over North Texas and had the Wolf Pack's only RBI in a 3-1 loss to Portland State.

Kaycee Wilcks, soph., OF, Nevada: No stats last week.

Valerie Smith, fr., C, Columbia: Went 1-for-2 in a 4-1 win over Saint Peter's and 1-for-2 in a 1-1 tie against Saint Peter's. Went hitless in a 5-1 loss to Rider but came back to go 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a double in a 4-0 win over Rider. She went 1-for-3 with an RBI in a 7-3 win over Fairfield and went 1-for-2 in a 3-0 win over Fairfield.

Stevie Smith, soph., P/3B, Feather River: Hit a home run in an 8-0 win over San Francisco..
