Despite rain and snow showers about 75 children gathered Easter eggs in the Genoa Town Park at a hunt sponsored by the town on Sunday afternoon.

After the eggs were collected families gathered in the Town Hall for pictures with the Easter Bunny, cupcakes, and punch.

Town Manager Tom Peters said Genoa residents Suzanne and Keith Corban and Kathi Diehl should be recognized for their hard work making this event a success.

The Genoa Community Church donated cupcakes and punch for the children.
