Douglas junior Trevor Mitchell turned in the highlight of the day as the Tiger boys' golf team took fourth at the Silver Oak Golf Course Tuesday.
Mitchell hit a pitching wedge 120 yards on the par 3 hole No. 2 to record his first ever hole-in-one.
He shot a 42 for the day on the front nine before the tournament was cut short due to lightning.
Carson won the tournament, shooting a 178 as a team while South Tahoe took second with a 206 and Reno took third with a 212.
Douglas wasn't far behind that, shooting 218 as a team.
Troy Sheilds led the way for the team, shooting a 40, followed by Mitchell's 42.
Reese Kizer shot a 43, Wes Haskell shot a 45 and Andrew Lococo shot a 48.
North Valleys took fifth overall and Wooster followed in sixth.
J.T. Cockerill of Carson won low medalist honors, shooting a 1-under-par-34.
Carson's Jimmy Potter, Zack Rispin, Matt Mitchell and Scott Jenkins each shot a 36.
Carson won its fifth-straight league tournament and has clinched the Sierra League title.
Douglas travels to South Tahoe Tuesday for its regular season finale.
