Bully's Sports Bar & Grill will soon begin construction and is slated to open spring 2007.

The 6,500-square-foot restaurant will be located next to the new Arby's restaurant at the corner of highways 88 and 395 in Minden.

Bully's has seven locations in Reno and Sparks and one in Carson City. The Minden restaurant will be the first in Douglas County. Future plans include a Bully's in Fernley.

Bully's is a privately owned restaurant created in 1994 and known for sports viewing, video poker for adults and video games and pool for children. Almost any food item can be found on Bully's menu, including vegetarian dishes. Bully's boasts an extensive draft beer list.

Sperry Van Ness, one of the nation's largest commercial real estate investment brokerage firms, has completed the lease of a build-to-suit building in Douglas County to one of northern Nevada's popular restaurants - Bully's.
