Allison Matts and Jonas Martin, both of Reno, were married in an evening ceremony at Genoa Lakes Golf Course, June 17. Rev. Chris Fields performed the ceremony.
The attendants were Michelle Schnurr, Heather Scheckla and Erin Leedy, all friends of the bride and Jeremiah Queen, Mike Curtis, friends of the groom and Jeff Matts, the bride's brother. The bride was given away by her father, Howard Matts.
The bride, daughter of Howard and Jan Matts of Minden, was a 1995 graduate of Douglas High School and received her bachelor of science in radiology from the Oregon Institute of Technology in 2000. She is currently employed as a CAT scan technologist with Sierra Imaging in Carson City.
The groom, son of Dick and Sandi Martin of Forks, Wash., is a 1995 graduate of Forks High School and received his associate of science in radiology from Wenatchee Valley College in 1999. He is currently employed as a MRI coordinator at Tahoe Forest Hospital.
A wedding dinner following the ceremony was attended by 100 guests at Genoa Lakes Golf Course after which the couple left for their honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii. They will make their home in Reno.
