Today is the last day to vote early in the 2006 primary election. More than 2,000 people have already cast ballots in early voting. If you skip today, you can vote at your precinct voting location starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday. Polls close at 7 p.m. and recordcourier.com will have results when they start rolling in.
Voters can still cast ballots at the Minden Inn through 6 p.m. today.
The A.M. Report's toy weather station shows the pressure is dropping and the National Weather Service appears to be agreeing.
The Weather Service is predicting winds 15-25 mph today and Saturday with highs in the 80s and lows in the 40s. There's a slight chance of thunderstorms on Monday.
It's going to be a pretty quiet weekend with a few events like the gun display at Mormon Station State Park on Saturday. But next weekend will be hopping.
Looks like a good time to get out and mow the lawn.
