Douglas County Republican Women present the 1950s relived at dinner/dance

The Douglas County Republican Women 1950s dinner/dance will be held 5:30-10:30 p.m., Sept. 16, at the Elks Lodge, 1276 Pit Road, Gardnerville Ranchos, between Tillman & Kimmerling.


A hot dog or hamburger dinner is $19.50 per person. Proceeds benefit the DCRW community affairs, including Douglas High School scholarships and marching band, Carson Valley Community Closet, school supplies and more for students) and Republican activities.

Entertainment provided is music by Time Warp, DJ Chuck Baldauskas, dancing, a dance contest and trivia.


There will be a "your-choice drawing," a silent and live auction, with Senator Mark Amodei serving as master of ceremonies.

A no-host bar will be available, I.D. required.
