Senior yoga classes expanded

The Douglas County Senior Services "yoga for seniors" class will be expanding to two days a week, each Tuesday and Thursday, at its new time of 11-11:30 a.m. This program is sponsored by the Division for Aging Services, and will be conducted at the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane in Gardnerville. This class is offered free of charge to anyone 60 years of age or older.


Jill Mustacchio R.N. from the O2 Wellness Studio will be leading this gentle yoga class that explores beginning yoga postures and breathwork. It is a safe, low-impact program.


Also, a senior resistance exercise class takes place each Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning at 10 a.m.
