It's meeting week, so take a deep breath, because ready or not, it's here. On Tuesday the towns of Gardnerville and Genoa hold their regular sessions. On Wednesday, Douglas County commissioners begin their two-day marathon master plan and other stuff meetings. Wednesday night the town of Minden meets and on Thursday commissioners wrap up. We'll talk about what happens as the week progresses.

The temperature at sunrise is a whopping 11 degrees in Genoa and 12 degrees in Minden.

Watch out for construction workers along Highway 395 between Johnson Lane and Stephanie Way. The speed limit will drop to 55 mph all this week while they complete utilities work on the shoulder. Work starts at 7 a.m
