County commissioners unanimously approved a master plan change to allow reconstruction of the Valley Bar.
The Centerville landmark was destroyed in a fire in April, but in order to rebuild owners Julian Larrouy and Sybil Dunagan had to obtain a change to the master plan because the property was on an agricultural parcel.
A roomful of supporters turned out this afternoon to support Larrouy and Dunagan.
Support swelled after planning commissioners failed to approve the change in November. While voting 4-2 in favor, five planning commission votes were required for the bar to win.
