A 22-year-old California woman is in Douglas County Jail on $100,000 bail accused of selling 56 grams of methamphetamine to undercover officers.
Yolanda Alvardo of North Highlands, Calif., was arrested Dec. 1 in a Stateline casino parking lot after the reported sale which had a street value of more than $5,000.
She was charged with felony trafficking which carries a penalty of up to life in prison if convicted and a $500,000 fine.
Trafficking in a schedule 1 controlled substance with 28 grams or more is a category A felony.
