Pau-Wa-Lu students strive to prevent underage drinking

Stand Tall Don't Fall members Brandi Graves and Katie Nicholson recently spent an afternoon placing prevention messages in fortune cookies to be distributed at their school, Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School. Each message contains a fact about underage drinking.

Because education is prevention, Stand Tall Don't Fall hopes to get the message to as many students as possible that drinking underage can be dangerous, not only when it comes to decision making, but also to brain and liver development and increasing the chances of struggling with alcohol problems as an adult.

This student outreach program is sponsored by the Partnership of Community Resources.
