Several Democratic candidates will be speaking at the Douglas County Democratic Central Committee's annual fundraising dinner on Saturday at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden, including Jack Carter, running for U.S. Senate.
Other candidates speaking are: Jill Derby, Congressional District 2; Jim Gibson, governor; Dina Titus, governor; Kate Marshall, state treasurer; Catherine Cortez-Masto, state attorney general; Kim Wallin, state comptroller; JoEtta Brown, state Assembly.
This is a rare opportunity to meet all the candidates and hear what they want for the future of the community, state and country.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a no host bar and a chance to mingle with the candidates as well as bid on a number of items in the silent auction. At 7 p.m., guests will be treated to a Western buffet.
Tickets are still available but in limited supply. Call Bud Orange at 721-7530 or Cindy Trigg at 338-1561 to reserve a seat.
