n Six fourth- through eighth-grade students are eligible for National Geographic Geography Bee state competition after winning at their Carson Valley schools. The state geography bee will take place in Henderson on March 31, and state winners will compete nationally for scholarships of up to $25,000. Page B1

n Theater returns to Carson Valley after 15 years. The Carson Valley Community Theatre has four productions scheduled through the end of this year. Page B2
