Coleman, 19, of Gardnerville, died last weekend at Lake Tahoe along with his friend Alex Haas. Both teens were 2005 graduates of Douglas High School.

A joint memorial service for Haas and Coleman is 10 a.m. Saturday at Hilltop Community Church in Indian Hills.

The two were found dead July 22 at Zephyr Cove after going to the Lake on July 21 for a day trip.

Three hours, 17 candidates, 50 residents and 96 degrees.

Temperatures in the 90s outside seemed cool compared to the temperatures inside the town hall, as Genoans turned out for the town's perrenial candidate's night.

Candidates ranging from congress to town board kept their cool, each taking 5 minutes to explain their positions.

Sen. Lawrence Jacobsen was remembered with a moment of silence.

It will continue to be hot today, but the National Weather Service is predicting that by next Monday the high will drop to 85 degrees and the lows will be cooler than 50.

Don't worry, the mercury will start to climb again, but it will be nice to have a little relief.
