Kenneth Wayne Rupert

1941-2006

A memorial service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Carson Colony Community Gym for Kenneth Wayne Rupert, 65, who died June 19, 2006, at his home in Carson City.

Mr. Rupert was born April 10, 1941, in Carson City to Harold and Sybil Rupert. He was married to Kristin Putzer Rupert. He was retired from the Nevada Department of Transportation after 30 years. He also worked at Rupert's Auto Body for three years.

He is survived by his wife Kristin Rupert of Carson City, children Marilyn (Cookie) Halligan, Frank Trujillo, Connie Foster, Marty Rupert, Anna Rupert, Greg Rupert, Sarina Rupert, Kassandra Rupert-Townsend, all of Carson City and Emily Boothroyd of Tooele, Utah. He is also survived by his brother Tyler Rupert of Carson City; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Funeral Home, Carson City. Visitation is 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the Stewart Cemetery, Carson City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ken Rupert Baseball Scholarship c/o Carson High School, 1111 N. Saliman Rd. Carson City, NV 89701.
