Vuki Wilson of Minden drove to victory in his Dwarfs car class main event last Saturday night in clay track racing at Reno-Fernley Raceway in Fernley.
By taking the checker flag in the main, coupled with a second-place finish in his heat race, Wilson moved into first-place in the track's Dwarfs points standings. Wilson now leads his son, Reece Wilson of Reno, by seven points in the standings.
Reno-Fernley's weekly schedule continues this Saturday night with the 4M Promotions Can Cooler Night at the Races. Gates open at 1 p.m., with hot laps starting at 3 and racing at 6.
