Services will be 10 a.m. June 26 at Calvary Chapel of Carson Valley for Peter James Ketter, newborn, born and died June 21, 2006 in Carson City.

Peter was the son of Patrick James and Julie Grace Ketter of Gardnerville. He is survived by his parents, sisters Selena and Natalie Ketter and brother Elijah Ketter.

Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.

Bertha Rosa Barker

1919-2006

Bertha Rosa Barker, 87, died June 18, 2006 in Gardnerville. Mrs. Barker was born Jan. 7, 1919 in Michigan to Christian and Rosa Brightlin Loeffler. She was married to William C. Barker and was a member of the Moose Lodge.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jim and Jenell Zaferiou of Gardnerville, Stephanie Zaferiou of Gardnerville; daughter and son-in-law Ed and Penelope de la Garrigue of Apple Valley, Calif., her sister Louise; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of Walton's Douglas County Mortuary in Minden.
